The Ayamicikiwikamik Public Library (Cree: The Reading Place) is under the
Pahkisimon Nuyeʔáh Library System (PNLS).
We aim to provide library services, and educational and cultural resources to the people in northern Saskatchewan in cooperation with the existing library and educational structures, and to communicate the uniqueness of the north to other regions of the world.
It houses an extensive collection of books from canonical literary texts to modern Marvel comics. It also has a wealth of information on Native history, arts and culture.
We welcome anyone to come to our library to peruse our books or seek assistance from our teams of Librarians for any enquiries. The evening library is open every weekday at the following times:
- 4pm – 6pm for grades 6 and below (children below 8 years old should be accompanied by an adult or older sibling)
- 6pm – 8pm for grades 7 and above (including adults)
School Librarian: Geraldine Merasty & Lisa Nateswayes
