On Jan 11, we drove through well-plowed snow-roads into the bush to view the school’s culture camp which is well on its way to completion.
We are happy to see what will be an interactive and culturally-fertile open classroom for all our students to step boldly into the future while still maintaining their links to their rich Cree heritage.

We would like to thank all our main sponsors (SaskPower, Orano, Cameco and Seabee Gold Operation) and community stakeholders for supporting us thus far. We also look forward to the completion of this project to bring the school one step forward to achieving NLSD113’s vision of providing enhanced life experiences by developing skills, knowledge, and attitudes within the cultural context of engaged Northern Communities.
